Why Make This Recipe
- Fantastic meal prep solution
- Always a crowd pleaser
- Only requires minimal prep and minimal effort
- Uses everyday ingredients
- Budget-Friendly – Pasta is inexpensive.

- A slow cooker.
- Mixing bowls.
- Measuring cups.

Ingredient Notes
- Chicken breast – I used cubed skinless boneless chicken breasts but you can use chicken breast with the skin on.
- Chicken broth – feel free to use vegetable broth instead.
- Seasoning – this calls for garlic and onion powders which means no having to fry items before cooking. You also need Italian seasoning but you can use other seasoning to your taste.
- Pasta sauce – go with whichever is your favorite pasta sauce. If this is already seasoned you might need to reduce the seasoning.
- Cheeses – the cream cheese and grated cheese are optional but really add creaminess. I used grated cheddar or mozzarella but use whichever you like.

FAQs
Do I Need To Add the Chicken Stock?
Yes! The tomato sauce alone is not enough liquid. But you can use cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup instead.
Can I Use Homemade Pasta Sauce?
You sure can. The amount of sauce is what’s important so make sure you have the right amount. You can also use canned tomato sauce but you may want to add a tablespoon of sugar as well.
Can I use A different Type of Pasta?
You can use other types of pasta like penne and fusilli. Keep the cooking time the same.
